DeKalb County Public Fishing Lake

This 120 acre man-made lake is located on top of Sand Mountain in the Sylvania Community.
Owned by the Alabama Game & Fish Division, this fully stocked lake offers bass, catfish,
bream, bluegill and even crappie. There is a playground and picnic area, country store and

DeSoto State Park Campground
- As of Friday, October 3, 2008, our primitive campgrounds will be OPEN
on a first come, first serve basis. Our improved campground will remain
CLOSED until further notice in order to complete
the renovation. We appreciate your patience as we take this time to improve
the facilities in order to better serve you. We will keep you

Sequoyah Campgrounds - This campground is located in the foothills of Sand Mountain at Sequoyah Caverns.
Besides the beautiful view of Wills Valley and Lookout Mountain, this park
offers 30/50 amp
hook-ups, a dumping station, picnic area, bathrooms and showers, store, washer and dryer

Wills Creek RV Park - Located in Fort Payne, just off I-59 at
exit 218, this brand new campground offers 35 pull-thru sites and 9
back-in sites, all with full hook-ups, water, sewer, and 20, 30, & 50
